The Do.More. Series. Real people. Real stories. Real acts of doing more.
For international athlete-turned-professional-model Hannah Williams, 'doing more' meant embracing reinvention through setback.
Running was central to Hannah’s life. As a full-time Track and Field Athlete competing for Great Britain, she won Bronze at the IAAF World Indoor Championships 2018 and was 2020 British Champion over 200m.
Hannah’s career was accelerating fast. Then, just as the sky felt like the only limit, everything stopped.
Hannah became ill, throwing up after every race with no explanation and on some occasions even being admitted to hospital. After two years, she was diagnosed with anaerobic-induced kidney failure.
Who Hannah thought she was, or who she was meant to be, was called into question. But with a love for sport as her north star, her path ahead was shaped by a mission to regain her identity and seize an entirely new avenue for success and fulfilment.
We sat down with Hannah to find out how ‘doing more’ translates into her narrative. Click the video link to watch the episode in full.
