The Do.More. Series. Real people. Real stories. Real acts of doing more.
For Adventurer Luke Tarrant, 'doing more' meant living boldly and refusing to let trauma define him.
It’s summer of 2023. Luke hands in his resignation at the finance firm he’d been working at for the past five years, setting his sights on a once-in-a-lifetime motorcycling trip across Colombia.
Shortly after, Luke touches down in South America. Bags packed, roads unexplored, adventure at his fingertips.
But what was intended to be a two-year quest, came to a very real halt just 10 months in. Luke crashed his bike in a life-altering accident.
11 days in a coma, the amputation of his left leg, 8 surgeries, battling through sepsis. Luke’s world was forever changed.
For many, here is an experience that would push them inward. For Luke, it had the opposite effect. His goal: to use the loss of his leg as a force for good. Seeing each day as an opportunity to make the most out of the cards he’s been dealt, to the point of living an even fuller life than he was pre-accident.
